The year was 1983 when I earned a Masters Degree in Fine Art from the California College of Art and Crafts. In 1987 I made the decision not to show my work and focus solely on the work itself. In 2002 my work was ready. Since then I have been juried into some shows, but I see my work within the spaces of contemporary museums and some galleries. In an attempt to make this happen I have submitted to THE finest museums and galleries in the United States and Canada. I have not just submitted my work once, but over and over again for the past 6 years. This has brought me stacks of rejection letters which have been used as resources for the work you will see on the following pages.
